'Satoyama-Jujo' dinner course 12,800 yen
Full course menu including seasonal specialty dishes. The main force of our course is mountain wild plants in the spring, and seasonal various vegetables in the summer to winter, with a nice touch of seafood from Japan sea, Niigata wagyu beef, Waton mochibuta pork and so on. Presentation covers a lot of styles such as tapas-ish small portion treat or dynamic platter for share but the aim is this: to let you enjoy the real power of the materials.
It's naturally in a good match with Japanese sake (rice wine) but we strongly recommend our carefully selected lists of organic wines. Have a try the 'mariage' wine tasting course beside your supper that consists of limitedly brewed local pure sake and genuine brand of local wines.

'Saotome' short dinner course 7,800 yen
Most of the dishes are made with vegetables and very light in amount: it's the most suitable for those who are very conscious about their health and figures, hence normally have no / little meal in the evening. Please notice this is quite different a menu if you expect the typical 'tasting course' with lots of luxury foodstuffs in small portions. * Additional beef / pork menus are available as listed below, in case that one or more of the groups have normal appetite while the other eat very little.
* Vegan, vegetarian, macrobiotic menus are arrangeable (extra reservation required more than 3 days in advance).

It's a little known fact that Kakuda-hama beach area, about the middle of Niigata coast line, is one of the most excellent site for grape cultivation and wine making in Japan, which defies the humid image of Niigata area that has ample amount of rainfall in the winter.
