The 13 guest rooms of Satoyama Jujo are housed in the modern annex that was fully renovated together with the 150-year old house that serves as our Reception Hall. Six rooms face the magnificent 1,967-meter Mt. Makihata, while the other six rooms afford guests views of the forest. Each room is unique, featuring different pieces of designer furniture and works of art. Every time you visit, you are sure to discover something new.

This room is our attempt to mesh the traditional and the modern, giving you the best of both worlds. You can enjoy the aroma and the texture of the tatami, as you get a good night’s sleep on a Sealy bed or lounge in the Tatone chairs from Italy.
